How to Return
At Genie Basket, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your item for any reason, our easy return process will guide you through the steps to return your product and receive a refund or exchange.
Return Policy Overview
• Return Window: Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery.
• Condition: Products must be in their original condition, unworn, unused, and with all tags and packaging intact.
• Non-Returnable Items: Certain items such as perishable goods, custom products, and final sale items are not eligible for returns.
Steps to Return an Item
Step 1: Initiate a Return
1. Log in to Your Account: Sign in to your Genie Basket account and navigate to “My Orders.”
2. Select Order: Choose the order containing the item(s) you wish to return.
3. Request Return: Click on “Request Return” and fill out the return form, specifying the reason for the return and any additional comments.
Step 2: Receive Return Authorization
1. Return Authorization Number (RMA): After submitting your return request, you will receive a Return Authorization Number (RMA) and detailed return instructions via email.
2. Packaging: Pack the item securely in the original packaging (if possible), including all accessories, tags, and documentation. Make sure to include the RMA number inside the package.
Step 3: Processing the Return
1. Inspection: Once we receive your return, our team will inspect the item to ensure it meets our return criteria.
2. Refund or Exchange: If the return is approved, we will process your refund or exchange. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method and may take 7-10 business days to appear in your account. If you requested an exchange, the new item will be shipped to you at no additional cost.
Return Status and Updates
• Check Status: You can check the status of your return by logging into your Genie Basket account and navigating to “My Returns.”
• Email Updates: You will receive email updates throughout the return process, including when we receive your return, when it is inspected, and when the refund or exchange is processed.
Return Exceptions
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact our customer service team within 7 days of delivery. Provide your order number and photos of the damaged or defective item. We will arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
Incorrect Items
If you receive an incorrect item, contact our customer service team as soon as possible. We will provide instructions for returning the incorrect item and ensure the correct item is shipped to you promptly.
